Cynthia is a seasoned physiotherapy professional with over two decades of experience specializing in neurological rehabilitation. With dual Bachelor’s degrees in Health Sciences and Kinesiology from McMaster University, Cynthia has held pivotal roles at many institutions in Ontario and BC. Notably, as co-founder of Neuro-Ability, Cynthia demonstrated exceptional leadership by managing a team of physiotherapists and overseeing clinic operations, earning recognition for their commitment to excellence in patient care.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Cynthia has pursued advanced certifications in vestibular rehabilitation, the Bobath Concept, advanced gait analysis and IMS (needling). Cynthia leads educational sessions, spearheads organizational initiatives, and provides expert care to patients, showcasing clinical expertise.
Throughout her career, Cynthia has gained experience in all stages of care, including the emergency department, acute care wards, outpatient rehabilitation departments, and long-term care. She is well-versed in the treatment of neurological illnesses and disorders.
